Edward Architecture is proud to be involved with the opening of Amsterdam fashion label Denham’s second UK store in the heart of Leeds’ retail centre.
Working in collaboration with Denham’s in-house design team, Edward Architecture was able to help secure Planning Permission, Advertising Consent and Building Regulations Approval for the Briggate store.
The 150sqm retail unit spans two floors creating platforms for the Denham’s signature 5-pocket denim ranges, signature essentials, indigo basics as well as full seasonal collections for both men and women.
The scheme represents a natural extension of the label’s distinct retail concept with established outposts already present in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya. Unique features include a careful balance of modern and vintage materials and fixtures including reclaimed wood cladding, large-format light boxes and hybrid scissor-bracket garment displays.
The scheme was recognised by Lighting and Interiors Online Exhibition who named Edward Architecture as one of the ten best architectural practices in the UK.
