At Edward Architecture we are committed in our approach to social responsibility. This includes making a positive impact to the community through charitable work.
We recently teamed up with Stonebridge Homes to take part in a Coast 2 Coast charity cycle ride for Variety – The Children’s Charity. To date we have raised £5,000 towards a mini bus for underprivileged children.
To date, we have committed over 200 hours of free time to ‘Holbeck Hiline’, a community-led project which aims to open up a disused railway viaduct to create a cycle, walkway and linear park linking under-invested communities to Leeds City Centre.
We are working on a charitable basis for Variety to create a Rebound Building at Springwater School in Harrogate. The building will provide a trampoline enclosure for severley disabled children.
Edward Architecture were proud sponsors of Architect in the House, an innovative scheme run by Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). We offered free design consultations for homeowners in exchange for a donation from the homeowner to Shelter.
Our annual sponsorship of the Residential Property Award has contributed over £7,000 for Variety.
